Coaches

1. Submit Coaching Application* via website.
2. Complete the RESPECT IN SPORT - COACH on-line program.  ALL coaches require "Coach" version.
3. Complete a Police Criminal Record Check (CRC). Please print off the below letter and take with you to your local RCMP office or City detachment.  Lacombe City residents must take the Lacombe Police Detachment, Lacombe County residents must go to an RCMP office. The CRC requires two pieces of identification and must be done in person. If there is a fee, it will be reimbursed if receipt is submitted to Lacombe Minor Hockey Association, Box 5180, Lacombe AB, T4L 1W9 along with your CRC marked Confidential Attention: Jacqui Rider.
4. Some volunteers may be required to be finger printed; don't be alarmed, this is a normal procedure.  Some record checks could take a few months so the sooner you start the process the better.  If you have a recent CRC on file with the association, you may be able to sign a Declaration rather than reapply for a CRC.
